International Thespian Society Troupe #4328
The International Thespian Society includes schools around the world who have pledged themselves to "act well their parts, therein all the honor lies." It is an honor society dedicated to promoting excellence in high school theatre. Students earn membership in ITS by earning ten or more points through service in their high school theatre, including work both onstage and backstage. As students accrue additional points, they become eligible for honor thespian status. More than two million students have become Thespians since 1929, including such notable celebrities as American Idol Kelly Clarkson, John Goodman, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sharon Stone, and Tom Hanks, and many more.
The drama club meets at least once a month-- keep an eye out for meeting announcements or check the drama call board outside the auditorium.
The Official ITS Point System information is available here.
Ten points are needed to become a member of ITS.
